The MICRACUT 202 precision Cutting machine features advanced technology and software with a programmable HMI touch screen controller that improves productivity, ensures sample consistency and minimizes operator intervention. The X/Y/Z axis can also be controlled using an ergonomic lever to provide stable and accurate positioning.

Cutting parameters:

LCD touch screen can pre-select cutting intensity and cutting feed speed (0,005-3mm/ SEC). The feed speed is automatically adjustable to reduce if necessary to achieve perfect cutting and prevent sample and machine damage. Pulse cutting mode is standard for cutting superhard samples. The cutting wheel speed can be adjusted from 300 to 4000rpm.

Multi-slice cutting:

Optional X axis automatic table can be programmed for parallel cutting of samples. Can be cut into the same thickness of the sample or different thickness of the sample.

Stop position programmable:

MICRACUT 202 has 3 different stop modes stopping at the cutting end: stopping at the cutting starting point when the sample is cut; stopping at the origin when it is cut and returning to the starting point; stopping at the reset point when the machine is initialized

Database:

The database can store 99 sets of procedures, including the relevant sample name or number and corresponding cutting parameters. List METKON recommended cutting consumables for selection.
